Where is the easiest Gold in Subnautica 2?
The shortest-distance verified Gold node is near the Lifepod itself — see the top of the table below. Distance is measured horizontally from the Lifepod origin (X 0, Z 0); depth is shown separately.
How do I read these coordinates in-game?
Open the survival HUD that exposes your current XYZ position. The table coordinates are in the same coordinate frame: X east/west, Y depth (negative below sea level), Z north/south. Paste them into the homepage Navigator to get a from-here distance and bearing.
A Gold node moved between EA builds — what now?
