Does Subnautica 2 have an in-game map?
No. Unknown Worlds confirmed in the official Subnautica Discord that Subnautica 2 ships without a built-in map by design. Players navigate using the on-screen compass, beacons, and landmarks — or external tools like this one.
Where do I read my XYZ coordinates from?
Open the developer overlay or survival HUD that shows your current position. X is east/west, Y is depth (negative below sea level), Z is north/south. Paste the three numbers into the Navigator and pick the resource you want.
What does the confidence level mean?
Every location is rated C1 to C5. C5 is verified in the current EA build by 3+ players. C4 has been cross-checked against 2 community sources. C3 is a single plausible community report. C2 is unconfirmed. C1 is outdated.
My EA build is different from yours — does this still work?
Subnautica 2 is in Early Access and locations may shift between builds. Each result shows the build it was last verified on. If you spot a missing or moved node, please use the Report Wrong Location link.
Do you save my coordinates anywhere?
Your inputs stay in your browser via localStorage so the tool remembers them next visit. We do not transmit coordinates to any server. Anonymous page-view analytics are collected via Cloudflare.

All coordinates currently shown are tagged against EA build 1.0.x, last reviewed on 2026-05-18. Older builds may differ — each result shows the build it was last seen on. We rebuild this list manually after every official EA patch.
